AWANA see a UniShow!

After a busy tour with 42 events in Montana, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas, we rolled back into Minnesota just in time for 2 AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) events on April 5th at Grace Church Eden Prairie, our home church. We presented the UniShow for 2 groups of very enthusiastic K-4th graders. Dustin not only blew them away with his amazing tricks, but he challenged each student to consider how God can use them to share His love near and far.

Dustin brought out a big inflatable globe and pointed out where we get to share Jesus around the world and where people have never heard about Him before.

In Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." They are not too young to surrender their lives to Jesus and to hear His calling to go into all the world and share the Good News.

Afterward, students lined up to have us sign trading cards with our photo and info on them. Some of them asked us questions from their AWANA books that they needed answered by a worker; some of them asked us questions just because. Questions varied from, "How long have you been a worker?" and "Where in the world do you serve?" to "Have you been to the moon?" and "Do you have a pet dinosaur?"

We pray this was a memorable presentation that will inspire students to see the opportunities God has for them to share His love in creative ways, with the abilities He has given them.

We met a new friend who told us he has been faithfully praying for us. Thank you Peter!
