Best Chapel in School History!

We hit the road October 31, 2019 for a full USA East Coast tour.  Kicking off the tour in Ohio, we presented at Westside Christian School where the principal told us the UniShow Universe was "the best chapel in school history!"  Then we had 4 assemblies across Pennsylvania.  It was a highlight to have so many opportunities in Christian Schools to share the Gospel and challenge students to use their gifts in world missions.  We heard again from a teacher at Lititz Christian School in PA, "Best chapel we ever had."

Just after we ended our presentation in York PA, we were evacuated due to a fire alarm which was set off from food burning in the kitchen, not from Dustin's juggling torches. This surprise gave us a few more focused minutes to interact with students and staff.

In Elizabeth NJ we continued a 15 year partnership with an influential pastor and city councilman.  He organized a community event at a local school, a special presentation at a senior center and had the UniShow Universe for their Sunday morning service.  Super impressive guy who truly cares about each person in his community and is reaching them with the love of Jesus.

We had the privilege of returning to the youth detention center in Washington DC to share the Gospel with the teen residents.  One volunteer told us he's never seen the youth so attentive before.  He was encouraged by how he is now able to build on our message as he connects regularly with the youth and gives them Bibles.

It's been a while since we displayed at the National Youth Workers Convention but we made a reappearance in Tampa FL along our route.  It was great to connect with many youth workers from around the world and present the UniShow as a resource to help them reach students.

Before leaving Florida, we stopped at North Florida Christian School for 2 UniShow assemblies in the Eagle's Nest.

We returned to Biloxi to present 2 rewards assemblies for students who reached their reading goals at Popp's Ferry Elementary.  Jeff Davis Elementary next door had us share 2 assemblies for their students this time, too.  One teacher said, "Everyone needs to see this show. It is motivational and inspiring with a mix of excitement and laughter."

Finally, to wrap up the year, we had an amazing time in Prattville Alabama partnering with a friend who previously organized several UniShow tours in Kosovo.

He again put his networking and organizations skills to good use and coordinated events for us in a local high school, a community outreach, an at-risk youth program and in a Hispanic community.

Super special times!  They told us that our presentations brought new life and energy to their church community as well as the truth of the Gospel to the unchurched.  A teacher told us ours was the most amazing assembly they've ever had at their school and that it "Restores hope and opens our eyes to future possibilities that are available through hard work and following our passions."

In all, we presented 21 shows in 7 states during this USA tour.  The encouraging feedback we've received confirms that God is using our humble efforts to point people to Him.  Thanks for praying and sending us out to make Him known.

Jeff Davis Elementary in Biloxi MS was ready for the UniShow Universe with their hallway decor.

Rain, Leaf blowers, Squeegees and a Show

The world got a little smaller for us this August 18, 2017 when we partnered with Dove Westgate Church in Pennsylvania for a community outreach at the old train station in cute downtown Ephrata. Outreach organizers from Dove Westgate had participated in the same YWAM ministry at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland the past few years with us and had the idea to bring us in for their local event. It was almost overwhelming to reunite with so many whom we've only seen in Switzerland.

Rain was in the forecast on August 18th so we were all watching the weather closely. Indoor options were not available so organizers made the call to proceed in faith that the show could go on. We arrived several hours prior to the event to set up. Almost immediately, torrential rains and wind put a halt on progress. We waited out the rain until it seemed all was clear. We began to set up equipment while others swept, squeegeed and used leaf-blowers to dry off the pavement. Things were starting to dry when another rain dumped on us.

After a second round of sweeping, squeegeeing and blowing, the pavement was nearly dry and ready for the UniShow. Several hundred came to the event and enjoyed food and music from the church, along with the UniShow.

Despite the stress surrounding the show, we are thankful for the opportunity to share in the Ephrata, PA community. Afterward several individuals talked to Dustin at length, thanking him for his message and testimony that hit them right in the heart.

Bethany Christian School Chapel

October 14th was not only picture day at Bethany Christian School in Oxford Pennsylvania, it was an unusual and exciting chapel day with the UniShow in town!  According to one teacher afterward, "It's unanimous, we've all agreed this is the best chapel we've ever had!"

The students were very enthusiastic and responsive to both the excitement of the show and the powerful Gospel message Dustin presented.  Many of these students are unchurched so it was a privilege to encourage them in the truths they are receiving every day at school.

UniShow Presentations For All Students in Brookville!

On October 12 we had the privilege of presenting three UniShow assemblies for the entire Brookville Pennsylvania school district.

Our unique connection to this town came unexpectedly a year ago when we were contacted by a man who had unknowingly used Dustin's copyrighted UniMan sticker image to make a very cool sign for his son's birthday.  Not only did he apologize for his oversight and ask usage permission, but he became an unofficial "agent" for the UniShow.  Turns out he is well connected in his community and proceeded to spread the word about the UniShow to local schools.  Long story short, this was our second visit to this area for school assemblies through this man's connections.  God works in mysterious ways!

All of our Brookville assemblies were very well received.  Elementary students bused to the high school gymnasium so we only had to set up once for all 3 presentations covering grades K-12.  It was fun to see students clap to the music as Dustin did his tricks and scream when he rode down stairs, jumped over teachers, and pretended to fall from his 10 foot unicycle.  In each presentation, Dustin challenged students to persevere through life's challenges, while looking for ways they can use what they have to make a difference in other's lives to impact the world.

We received great feedback after each UniShow from students and teachers.  High school students came up to us after our final presentation, sharing how Dustin's message had impacted and inspired them.
